Aldrich B. Underwood Library

In 1969, Aldrich B. Underwood made the very generous donation of his private collection of books, various Indian artifacts, and primitive tools. He also provided the funds that built the structure where his collections are housed.

Within the library building, one will also find memorabilia pertaining to Granger Township such as the class composites of Granger School, Highland High School annuals, a display of GAR, World Wars I and II artifacts, blacksmithing tools, carpentry tools used in local barn construction, township, and country store equipment such as the very large coffee grinder, and the large school bell from one of the township's one-room school houses.
