"PLEIN AIR" ART EVENT

8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Saturday, October 26, 2019

Our first bicentennial event will be a "Plein Air" (outdoor) Art Event at Allardale Park on Saturday, October 26. It is co-sponsored by the Guild of Highland Artists and the Granger Bicentennial Committee. You’ll get to see the guild members, behind their easels, capturing the beauty of the park with its wonderful vistas. But that’s not all! You, too, can try your hand at art. All ages are welcome (kids must be accompanied by an adult). Bring any art medium you like, even crayons if that’s your preference. Can’t draw? How about tracing leaves?

Allardale Park is located at 401 Remsen Rd. Come anytime from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The outdoor pavilion is reserved, so if you want to bring a snack to share, feel free!

Have fun with your neighbors, ooh-ing and aw-ing over (or laughing at) your artistic endeavors!

VINTAGE CAR SHOW
12-3 p.m.
Saturday, June 27, 2020

The event is chaired by Doug Patty, Dale Huefner and Rich Pace. The show promises to be a big hit for car enthusiasts! Township residents are invited to display their cars, along with members of the Model A Car Club from Walton Hills. More details will be posted in the coming weeks!
