"Plein Air Barn Art Day"
is July 10, 2021
The Guild of Highland Artists will join the Granger Bicentennial Committee to present a free "Plein Air Barn Art Day" from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, July 10 on the Granger Green (1261 Granger Road).
Bring your own art supplies -- anything from the professional variety to a box of broken crayons! Or, just stop by to watch the real artists! All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The focus will mainly be on barns, and it’s only a short walk to the Hummel Barn. Participants are also free to use other areas around the Green for the project or may bring a photo of another favorite barn in Granger and paint from that.
An art show will be held at the Highland Branch Library in October where participants may display their art of any Granger barn or any art created at the Plein Air day.
