Cast Members Needed for “Our Town: Granger”
Tentatively, “Our Town: Granger” will be performed on Friday, June 26 in the Highland High School Auditorium, as part of the Granger Township Bicentennial Celebration. It will be in the style of Thornton Wilder’s play of Our Town, but all of the scenes will be based on Granger’s early history.
There will be a cast of 33, with parts for children, teens, and adults. Some characters will be from pioneer times, and others will be from modern times. The production will be directed by Bryan Mravec.
Our plan is to hold auditions on April 14-15 at Pleasant Valley Corp, 1153 Medina Road in Granger Township. Please sign up for an audition time through the following link:
If we are unable to hold auditions, we will fill the parts based on a questionnaire. You will be assigned your part by the end of April so you can memorize your lines.
Those wishing to audition should be available for rehearsals most weekday evenings between June 1-18 (2 or 3 evenings per week). Rehearsals the evenings of June 22-25 will be mandatory.
